👀 MONITOR (LEVEL 5)
Secret “Audit Survey” Review
📅 2026-08-07
The committee is reviewing an “Audit Survey” in a closed session, preventing any public oversight. Parents need to know if this is a standard security audit or a “climate survey” collecting sensitive student data under the guise of safety.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link for details): ‘What is the nature of the “District Audit Survey” being reviewed in closed session under Item B.1? Parents have a right to know if non-security related student or family data is being discussed without public oversight.’

💰 Taxpayer Impact: Your Child’s Data
ALERT (LEVEL 4)
District Reviewing State Legislation (HB33)
📅 2026-08-07
The committee is officially reviewing Texas House Bill 33. Parents must know the content of this bill and whether the district is preparing to use taxpayer resources to support or oppose legislation that impacts parental rights.
Recommended Action Plan

INVESTIGATE & MONITOR: Research Texas HB33. Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link for details): ‘What is the district’s position on HB33, being reviewed in item E.7? Will the public be informed before the board takes any official stance on state legislation?’

💰 Taxpayer Impact: Taxpayer-Funded Lobbying
ALERT (LEVEL 3)
Vague “Blue Lunch Special” Program
📅 2026-08-07
The committee is discussing a program cryptically named the “Blue Lunch Special.” This vague title prevents parents from understanding what is being discussed regarding school safety and security, hiding a potential new program from public view.
Recommended Action Plan

MONITOR & QUESTION: Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link for details): ‘What is the “Blue Lunch Special” listed as discussion item E.3? Please use clear, plain language on public agendas so parents can provide informed input.’

💰 Taxpayer Impact: Undisclosed Program
