🚨 HIGH CONCERN (LEVEL 8)
Superintendent Job Description May Embed Ideology
📅 August 3, 2026
The board is finalizing the job description for the new superintendent. This is a critical moment to ensure the district’s next leader is focused on academic achievement, not on pushing ideological agendas like the ‘equitable outcomes’ and ‘holistic scholar needs’ mentioned in the district’s strategic plan.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND INPUT: This is a work session, the perfect time to influence the outcome. Email the Board (contact info on the district website) and speak at public comment: ‘We demand the draft Superintendent Job Description be made public immediately. Parents expect a leader focused on academic excellence, not the divisive ‘equity’ and ‘holistic’ goals in the strategic plan.’
