Parents have no way of knowing what policies, costs, or ideological training mandates might be hidden inside these legally binding agreements. This is a severe lack of transparency.

Hidden in the consent agenda (Item 4.C) is a contract with ‘Associate in Employee Assistance LCSW LLC’ to provide ‘confidential short term counseling/assessment sessions’ and ‘Critical Incident Stress Debriefings’ for all district employees. While employee wellness is important, this brings an outside therapeutic provider into the district culture. We need to know what frameworks and ideologies this group uses in their ‘counseling,’ as these will inevitably influence the classroom environment.

QUESTION THE VENDOR: Email the Board of Education: ‘Regarding Item 4.C, what therapeutic models does Associate in Employee Assistance LCSW LLC use? Will their services be politically neutral? Please pull this item from the consent agenda for a public discussion.’
