👀 MONITOR (LEVEL 5)
New Gatekeeper for Elementary School Curriculum
📅 July 27, 2026
The board is voting to appoint a new ‘Elementary Curriculum Coordinator.’ This single administrator will have immense influence over the textbooks, software, and teaching methods used for all K-5 students. The district has provided no resume, no statement of educational philosophy, and no public interview for this candidate, leaving parents completely in the dark about who will be shaping their children’s education.
Recommended Action Plan

Contact the District Office and Board of Education members. Demand that the vote on Item V be postponed until parents can review the candidate’s full resume and qualifications. Ask: ‘What is Jennifer Harvey’s track record on curriculum, and does her philosophy align with academic excellence or social agendas?’

💰 Taxpayer Impact: Undisclosed administrative salary. The long-term cost is the potential for ideological curriculum to be embedded across all elementary schools.
