The Board is holding a special session with an outside consultant, Dr. Jennifer Jeffries, to discuss ‘good governance’ and review their ‘governance handbook.’ The agenda provides no documents, so parents have no idea what principles or policies will be discussed. These closed-door ‘training’ sessions are often used to introduce frameworks that can limit public input, reduce board oversight, and push ideological agendas under the guise of ‘best practices.’
