Workshop May Set Stage for Future Bond Debt

The board is holding a workshop to discuss a ‘needs assessment’ for district facilities. These assessments are often the first step in justifying large bond packages or other debt that can significantly increase property taxes for decades.

Attend the workshop on Item 3.A and ask the board to commit to putting any proposed debt, including Certificates of Obligation, before the voters for approval.
