The Board is holding a work session on the multi-year, multi-billion dollar Capital Budget and Capital Improvements Program (CIP). These plans determine what gets built and renovated for years to come, but the agenda provides no details on specific projects, hiding them from public view. This is how districts can fund controversial projects like school-based ‘wellness’ clinics or prioritize spending based on ‘equity’ instead of academic need, without parental oversight.
