NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 7)
District Planning ‘Equitable Programming Audit’
πŸ“… October 30, 2026
The Board is discussing an ‘Equitable Programming Audit’ under agenda item C.2. These audits are often the first step toward eliminating advanced academic programs, like Gifted and Talented, in the name of ‘equity,’ replacing a focus on academic achievement with a focus on equal outcomes.
Recommended Action Plan

Email Superintendent Shauna Murphy at murphys@cps-k12.org and call the Board of Education at (513) 363-0425 before the meeting: ‘Regarding Item C.2, an ‘Equitable Programming Audit’ must not be a pretext to dismantle gifted programs or advanced academics. I demand that any audit focus on academic excellence for all students, not equal outcomes, and that parents have full oversight before any changes are proposed.’
