The Board is voting to spend up to $330,000 of taxpayer money to place a measure on the November ballot about their own term limits. This money comes from the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), which is supposed to directly support students. Instead of funding teachers, textbooks, or classroom needs, the Board is diverting a massive sum to pay for a political campaign about their own jobs.

DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY: Email the Board of Education and Superintendent John Roach. Advise members to find contact information on the district website. Your message: ‘I demand you vote NO on Item 3.01.a. Not one dollar of student funding should be spent on a political ballot measure. Redirect that $330,000 back to the classroom where it belongs.’
