⚠️ NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 7)
Secret Board Meeting Planned
📅 Meeting on July 27, 2026
The agenda includes a motion for the Board to enter a private “Executive Session,” but the reason for this secret meeting is left completely blank. This allows the Board to discuss sensitive topics like personnel, legal issues, or controversial policies without any public oversight or accountability. Parents have a right to know the general subject matter that forces their elected officials to meet in secret.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Email the Board of Education and Superintendent. ‘I demand to know the specific reason for the Executive Session scheduled for the July 27th meeting, as required by the Open Public Meetings Act. What are you discussing that you don’t want the public to hear?’ Advise members to find board contact information on the district website.

💰 Taxpayer Impact: N/A – Transparency Violation
