MONITOR (LEVEL 5)
Board Holding ‘Informal’ Meeting on Community Survey
📅 October 26, 2026
The Board is holding ‘informal’ information sessions about a new community survey, and a quorum of members may attend. While no vote will occur, these sessions can be used to build consensus for controversial data-gathering initiatives before a formal public meeting, limiting real debate. Parents must find out what this survey asks and how the data will be used.
Recommended Action Plan

ATTEND & ASK QUESTIONS: Go to the ‘Community Survey Information Sessions’ on Monday, October 26th (4:00 p.m. or 6:30 p.m.) at the High School Library. Ask the board members present: ‘Will parents be able to review the full survey before it is sent out? Who created the survey questions, and will you release the list of vendors or consultants involved? How will student and family data be stored, who will have access to it, and for what specific purpose will it be used?’
