ALERT (LEVEL 4)
Vague ‘Access’ Workshop Could Hide Equity Agenda
📅 October 17, 2026
The Board is holding a workshop to discuss ‘barriers to access’ for students in support of its strategic plan. While this could be about simple scheduling, these terms are often used as cover to introduce ‘equity’ initiatives that can lower academic standards or inject ideology into the classroom.
Recommended Action Plan

ASK FOR CLARITY: Email the Board of Trustees (contact information is available on the district website): ‘Regarding Discussion Item C.1, please publicly define the ‘barriers to access’ you will be discussing and clarify whether ‘equity’ initiatives or changes to academic standards will be considered as solutions. Parents deserve to know the specific problems and solutions on the table.’
