HIGH CONCERN (LEVEL 8)
Superintendent Selection Happening Behind Closed Doors
📅 October 21, 2026
The board is interviewing candidates for the new Superintendent in a closed session. The person they choose will set the direction for the entire district for years to come, impacting everything from curriculum and budget priorities to parental rights policies.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Contact the Thrall ISD School Board (see the Official Agenda link for contact info) before the meeting: ‘Parents deserve to know the vision and philosophy of the final candidates for Superintendent before a decision is made. We demand a public forum with the finalists to ask questions about their commitment to academic excellence and parental rights before you take action on Item 5.’
