HIGH CONCERN (LEVEL 8)
Board to Hire New Superintendent in Closed-Door Session
📅 October 20, 2026
The Board is meeting in a closed session to interview and potentially hire a new Superintendent. This is the most important decision the board makes, as the Superintendent sets the district’s direction on curriculum, budgets, and parental rights for years to come. Parents must ensure the board’s choice is committed to academic excellence, not a political agenda.
Recommended Action Plan

SHOW UP & SPEAK UP: This is a critical moment to influence the district’s future leadership. Use the ‘Public Comment’ period (Item 3) to demand the Board publicly state their hiring criteria. Urge them to select a Superintendent who is transparent, prioritizes core academics, and respects parental authority as the primary stakeholder in a child’s education.
