NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 7)
Board to Hold Vague ‘Difficult Decisions’ Discussion
📅 October 20, 2026
The board is holding a ‘Special Meeting’ to discuss ‘Difficult Decisions 101’ with no further explanation or attached documents. This vague title prevents parents from knowing what topics will be discussed, effectively shutting down informed public comment on potentially controversial future policies.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Email the Spring Branch ISD Board of Trustees (see district website for contacts) before the meeting: ‘What specific topics will be covered under agenda item 2.A, ‘Discussion of Difficult Decisions 101′? Parents have a right to know what is being discussed about our children’s schools before a vote is taken.’
