District Invites Parents to Key Oversight Committees
📅 October 29, 2026
The district is inviting all community members to its upcoming District Accountability (DAC) and Budget committee meetings, and is providing dinner and childcare to encourage attendance. This is a significant opportunity for parents to get involved at the ground floor, where policies and spending are shaped before they ever reach the full board.
How to Lock It In

ATTEND & INFLUENCE: This is our chance to get ahead of policy. RSVP using the form in the official agenda notice. Plan to attend on Oct 29 to show that parents are watching the budget and accountability process. Monitor the district website for the specific committee agendas, which are due to be posted one week prior, and be ready to challenge any concerning items.
