ALERT (LEVEL 4)
Vague ‘Solution Labs’ on Capital Plan Agenda
📅 October 14, 2026
The agenda for the Citizens’ Advisory Committee on Capital Planning lists two major items as ‘Area 2 Concern to Solution Lab’ and ‘Area 4 Concern to Solution Lab’ with no further explanation. This makes it impossible for parents to know what problems are being discussed or what solutions, which could involve millions in taxpayer funds, are being proposed.
Recommended Action Plan

ATTEND & REPORT: This is an advisory committee, but its recommendations will go to the full board. We need a member to attend this meeting, take detailed notes on the ‘Solution Labs,’ and report back to the chapter on what specific projects and costs are being discussed behind these vague titles.
