ALERT (LEVEL 4)
Vague Capital Plan on Consent Agenda
📅 October 12, 2026
The board is set to approve the district’s multi-year building and facilities plan (FY27 Capital Plan) without a separate discussion by bundling it into the Consent Agenda. These plans can sometimes include funding for controversial projects like school-based clinics or ideologically-driven facility changes that parents should have a say in.
Recommended Action Plan

INVESTIGATE & DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: The FY27 Capital Plan is not attached to the public agenda. Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and demand that Item G.4 be pulled from the Consent Agenda for a full presentation and discussion. ‘Parents have a right to know how our tax dollars will be spent on facilities for years to come. Please present the full FY27 Capital Plan publicly before any vote.’
