WARNING (LEVEL 7)
District Discussing Agenda of Taxpayer-Funded Lobby Group
📅 October 14, 2026
The board will discuss topics from the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) convention. TASB is a powerful lobbying organization that uses local tax dollars to work against property tax relief, school choice, and other taxpayer-friendly reforms in the Texas Legislature.
Response

Contact the Holland ISD Board of Trustees (see the Official Agenda link for contact details): ‘Regarding Item 6.E, instead of discussing TASB’s convention topics, I urge you to discuss ending our district’s membership. Why are our tax dollars funding a lobby group that works against property tax relief and parental rights in Austin?’
