ALERT (LEVEL 3)
Special Closed-Door Meeting on ‘Personnel Matters’
📅 October 8, 2026
The Board is holding a special-called closed session to discuss unspecified ‘Personnel Matters.’ While such meetings are sometimes legally required for privacy, they reduce transparency and can be used to discuss sensitive topics, like the hiring or firing of key staff, without public input.
Recommended Action Plan

MONITOR & INQUIRE: The agenda states ‘No action will be taken,’ but parents should still signal they are watching. Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) to get contact info for the Board and send this message: ‘Parents expect maximum transparency from our elected board. We will be watching the public minutes for a summary of the topics discussed in the October 8th closed session, to the extent legally permissible.’
