MONITOR (LEVEL 5)
‘Wellness Scorecard’ Could Track Student Beliefs
📅 October 7, 2026
The board is reviewing a ‘Wellness Scorecard’ under its financial reports. These scorecards are often used to collect non-academic data on students’ feelings, beliefs, and home life under the guise of ‘wellness,’ without clear parental consent or review.
Recommended Action Plan

INVESTIGATE: The agenda item ‘II.8. Wellness Scorecard’ lacks detail. Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link): ‘What specific data points are included in the Wellness Scorecard, who has access to this student data, and how can parents review it and opt their children out?’

💰 Impact: Student Data Collection
ALERT (LEVEL 4)
District Hiring Undefined ‘B&H Investigators’
📅 October 7, 2026
The district is voting to hire two part-time ‘B&H Investigators.’ The agenda does not define what ‘B&H’ stands for, raising concerns it could be a role for policing student speech or behavior based on subjective ‘bias’ or ‘hate’ standards, rather than traditional discipline.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND CLARITY: Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link): ‘Regarding Action Item IV.1.b, what does the acronym “B&H” stand for? Please provide the job description for the “B&H Investigators” before the Board votes to create these positions.’

💰 Impact: Speech Policing?
