The Board is holding a ‘special meeting’ to discuss long-range financial plans and potential school consolidations. Citing Board Policy 1301, they have completely banned public comment, preventing parents from having any say in foundational decisions about their children’s schools.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TO BE HEARD: Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and email the Board of Education. ‘We demand the discussion on long-range planning be moved to a regular meeting where public comment is allowed. Using a ‘special meeting’ to silence parents on critical issues like school closures is unacceptable governance.’
