Potential Lobbyist-Led Board Training
📅 October 12, 2026
The board is holding a ‘Team of Eight’ training session to discuss its roles and procedures. This type of training is a hallmark of the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB), a group that lobbies the Legislature against taxpayer interests using public funds.
Response

DEMAND THE DETAILS: Contact the Mullin ISD administration (see the Official Agenda link for contact info) and ask who is conducting the ‘Team of Eight Training’ for Item 3 and how much it costs. Taxpayers should know if their money is being used to pay organizations that lobby against them.

💰 Impact: Undisclosed Training Fees
