Policy Opens School Doors to Union Organizers

The board is voting on revisions to Policy 7710, which forces principals to grant teacher unions and other ‘professional organizations’ nearly unlimited access to school campuses and staff. This policy strips principals of their authority to manage who is on their campus, creating a direct pipeline for union organizers to pressure teachers and influence school culture away from academics.

Recommended Action Plan

Contact the Wake County Schools Board of Education (see the Official Agenda link) and demand they vote NO on the revisions to Policy 7710. ‘Principals, not union organizers, should control access to our schools. Protect our teachers from political pressure and keep the focus on our kids.’
