The district is presenting ‘The Mustang Way,’ a school-wide framework based on restorative practices and four core values (Respect, Integrity, Community, Compassion). While currently a presentation, such initiatives can evolve into policies that compel staff to affirm or promote specific viewpoints, creating First Amendment exposure.

CALENDAR: Item 5.a.1 introduces a new school climate framework. Track for future board items that codify this framework into the staff handbook, student discipline code, or curriculum, which could create compelled speech issues.
