District Invites Parents to Shape Turnaround Plans for Failing Schools
📅 October 7, 2026
The district is holding a public hearing for four underperforming schools (Madison Elementary, Galileo Middle, Mann Middle, Spark Online Academy) and is asking for parent feedback on their ‘Unified Improvement Plans.’ This is a critical opportunity for parents to ensure these plans focus on core academics like reading and math, not on social experiments.
How to Lock It In

ATTEND AND SPEAK: This is our chance to get on the record. Show up to the public hearing on October 7th at 7:00 PM to thank the board for this transparency and demand that the Unified Improvement Plans for these schools prioritize proven, evidence-based academic instruction over any SEL or ‘whole child’ experiments. Let’s make sure ‘improvement’ means better grades, not more ideology.
