The board is promoting attendance at the TASA/TASB annual conference (txEDCON). These organizations are two of the most powerful anti-taxpayer lobbying groups in Austin, consistently opposing property tax relief, school choice, and parental rights. District funds are being used to support organizations that lobby against the interests of the taxpayers who fund them.
