The board will vote to select a delegate for the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Delegate Assembly. TASB is a taxpayer-funded organization that lobbies the state legislature, often for policies that increase property taxes and reduce parental rights.

DEMAND A RECORDED VOTE: Contact the Lewisville ISD Board before the meeting (see the Official Agenda link for contact details). ‘Regarding Item K.1, I demand a roll-call vote on appointing a TASB delegate. Taxpayers should not fund organizations that lobby against their interests. LISD should withdraw from TASB.’
