The district is holding a special community meeting to promote a bond election and a Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE) scheduled for November 3, 2026. This is the public’s primary opportunity to scrutinize the proposed new debt and property tax hike before it goes to the ballot.

ATTEND THIS MEETING: This is the key opportunity to question the district’s spending plans before the November 3 election. During Item 6 and 7, ask the board and their consultants: ‘What is the total cost of this bond, including interest? How much will the VATRE increase the average homeowner’s tax bill?’
