ALERT (LEVEL 3)
District ‘Strategic Plan’ Could Sideline Academics
📅 September 30, 2026
The Board is continuing to develop a five-year ‘Strategic Plan’ to set the district’s direction. These high-level planning sessions are often where vague, non-academic goals are introduced, setting the stage for future policy changes that sideline core subjects like reading and math.
Recommended Action Plan

ENGAGE EARLY: This is a discussion, not a final vote. Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and attend the meeting to insist that the new Strategic Plan prioritizes academic excellence, measurable outcomes in core subjects, and parental rights as its ‘Northern Star’.
