Vague “Informal Meeting” Could Hide Policy Discussions
📅 October 6, 2026
The board is holding an “informal meeting” for a “general discussion” on “Educational Matters” with no specific topics listed. This format can be used to build consensus on controversial policies away from public scrutiny, leaving parents in the dark until a formal vote is just a rubber stamp.
Recommended Action Plan

ATTEND & OBSERVE: ‘Informal’ meetings with vague agendas are where controversial policies are often shaped before a public vote. Attend this meeting to listen, take notes, and contact the School Board to demand that all substantive discussions on ‘Educational Matters’ occur only in regular meetings with a detailed, public agenda.
