District Proactively Addresses AI, Reinforces Academic Honesty
📅 September 28, 2026
The district is updating its academic honesty policy to address the challenges of Artificial Intelligence. The new rules clearly define AI-related plagiarism and protect students from AI-generated obscene material, while explicitly including parents as partners in upholding these standards. This is a positive move to protect academic integrity and keep the focus on real learning.
How to Lock It In

SUPPORT GOOD GOVERNANCE: Contact the Natrona County School District #1 Board to thank them for proactively addressing AI and for including parents as partners in academic integrity. Positive reinforcement shows the board that parents are paying attention and appreciate a focus on core academics.
