Board Holds Special Meeting for Secret Hire
📅 Meeting Scheduled Jul 9, 2026
The board has called a 'Special Meeting' for the sole purpose of going into a private executive session to hire an unnamed employee. Parents have no information on the position or the candidate. This process bypasses public scrutiny for a potentially influential role, such as a DEI or SEL coordinator.
Recommended Action Plan
DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Call Superintendent Gary Card at (513) 864-1000 and Board President Jon Simons at (513) 864-1000. Ask: 'What position is being considered for employment in the July 9th executive session? The public has a right to know before a decision is made behind closed doors.'
