Off-Site Board 'Workshop' Reduces Transparency
📅 Jul 7, 2026
The Board is holding a special three-hour 'workshop' at an off-site location. While no votes will occur, these retreats are often used to build consensus on future policies away from public scrutiny. This makes later votes a mere formality and reduces meaningful public input.
Recommended Action Plan
DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Email Superintendent Samuel Ison at sison@wayne-local.com: 'Why is the July 7th workshop being held off-site? Please ensure that detailed minutes of this 'alignment' discussion are made publicly available immediately after the meeting.'
