District Plans Mid-Day ‘Measure C’ Financial Session

The district has scheduled a “Measure C Study Session” for 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 15th. These “measures” are typically bond issues or tax levies, and holding a planning session when most parents are working is a common tactic to limit public scrutiny on major spending proposals.

INVESTIGATE & ATTEND: What is ‘Measure C’? Email the district at district@slcusd.org and call (805) 549-1202 to demand details. Parents must know if this is a new bond or tax levy. Plan to attend the study session on October 15th to ensure parent voices are heard before any decisions are made.
