NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 7)
Early Morning ‘Special Meeting’ to Hire New Treasurer
πŸ“… Scheduled Action
The Board is holding a special meeting at 6:45 a.m. to approve the contract for a new district Treasurer. Holding a vote on a key financial position at a time when public attendance is nearly impossible raises serious transparency questions about the hiring process.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Why is the vote for a new district Treasurer being held at 6:45 a.m. when parents cannot attend? Contact Board President Joslyn Dalton and Superintendent Keith Ahearn via the district office (see the Official Agenda link for contact info) and demand the vote on Item 4.A, the new Treasurer contract, be postponed to a regularly scheduled evening meeting to allow for proper public review and comment.
