Heads up! Our parent watchdogs have scanned the upcoming agenda for EHOVE Career Center. We found 2 items that need your immediate attention before the vote.
🚨 HIGH CONCERN (LEVEL 9)
Secret Vote on Medicine and Truancy Policies
📅 Vote Scheduled July 8, 2026
The Board is voting to adopt updated policies on "Administering Medicines to Students" and "Truancy" (Item 3.C). The district has failed to attach the new policy language to the agenda, preventing any public review. This is how parental rights are stripped away in secret.
Recommended Action Plan
PACK THE ROOM: This is a major transparency violation. Email Treasurer TIMOTHY COFFMAN at tcoffman@ehove.net and call the district office: 'Demand Item 3.C be tabled until the full text of the proposed policy changes is posted for public review. Do not vote on secret policies.'
💰 Taxpayer Impact: Loss of Parental Consent and Oversight

⚠️ NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 6)
Student Wellness Plan Signals SEL Push
📅 Presentation on July 8, 2026
The Health Services Coordinator is presenting a "Student Wellness and Success Plan" (Item 1.D). These plans often serve as a trojan horse for Social Emotional Learning (SEL), mental health surveys, and data collection that profile your child's attitudes and beliefs without your direct consent.
Recommended Action Plan
DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Email Superintendent Chris McCully and Treasurer TIMOTHY COFFMAN at tcoffman@ehove.net: 'Regarding the Student Wellness and Success Plan, will a full copy of this plan be made public before any vote? Parents must be able to review and opt-out of any non-academic surveys or programming.'
💰 Taxpayer Impact: Student Data Mining
