👀 MONITOR (LEVEL 5)
Vague “Data Review” Requires Parent Scrutiny
📅 2026-08-25
The board is holding a retreat to review unspecified “end of year data.” This could be anything from academic test scores to sensitive student data from climate surveys, equity audits, or behavioral tracking systems. Parents need to know what data the district is collecting and using to make decisions about their children.
Recommended Action Plan

INVESTIGATE: The agenda mentions file attachments for this data review but doesn’t show them. Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and ask: ‘Please provide the “End of Year 2025-26” data presentation for Item 1.02. Parents have a right to know what data is being collected on our children and how it is being used.’
