⚠️ NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 6)
Secret Protocol for Religious Instruction
📅 August 25, 2026
The Board is reviewing a new ‘proposed protocol’ for students who are released from school for religious instruction. The actual text of this policy is in an attachment that was not provided, preventing parents from reviewing the specific rules, requirements, or potential data collection involved before the Board takes action.
Recommended Action Plan

INVESTIGATE: The ‘protocol’ for religious release time is hidden in an attachment. Go to the official agenda (linked above), find Item V.A, and open the file. We need to know if this ‘protocol’ respects parental rights or creates new hurdles and tracking. Email the Board (see official agenda for contacts): ‘Table Item V.A. on Religious Instruction until the full text of the protocol is posted publicly for parental review. We will not accept a vote on a secret policy.’
