Vague ‘Staffing Philosophy’ Plan Requires Investigation
📅 August 24, 2026
The district is holding a workshop to develop a new ‘Strategic Staffing Alignment plan’ and ‘staffing philosophy.’ These vague terms can be used to create and fund permanent positions for roles like DEI officers or SEL coaches, embedding ideology into the district’s hiring structure. The actual details are contained in six attachments which must be manually reviewed.
Recommended Action Plan

INVESTIGATE: The details of this plan are in six attachments. Open the files for Item V in the Official Agenda (linked above) to see if they create new ideological staff roles. Email the Board (see district website for contacts): ‘What is the district’s proposed staffing philosophy, and will it prioritize academic qualifications over ideological alignment?’
