🚨 HIGH CONCERN (LEVEL 8)
Board to Finalize Taxpayer-Funded Lobbying Agenda
📅 2026-08-27
The Board is scheduled to discuss and review its official lobbying priorities for both state and federal legislation. This determines how the district will use public funds and its official position to influence laws affecting parental rights, curriculum, and school choice.
Recommended Action Plan

INVESTIGATE & TESTIFY: The district’s proposed lobbying agenda is in the attachments for items III and V on the official agenda. Parents must review these documents immediately to see if the board plans to lobby against parental rights. Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and demand these priorities be read aloud and debated publicly, not rubber-stamped. Sign up to speak and ask: ‘Which specific bills will our district’s lobbyists support or oppose with our tax dollars?’
