Secret Board Training with Unnamed Consultant
📅 2026-08-25
The Board is holding a closed-door ‘Executive Session’ to be trained by an unnamed ‘outside consultant’ on their official roles. This prevents parents from knowing who is influencing the board’s perspective and what agenda they might be pushing behind the scenes.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Contact the Westfield-Washington School Board (see the Official Agenda link for contact info): ‘Who is the “outside consultant” for the August 25th executive session training, what is their fee, and will their training materials be made public? Board training should be transparent to the taxpayers who fund it.’

💰 Taxpayer Impact: Undisclosed Consultant Fee
