The Board is using standards from the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) to set its goals for the next year. The OSBA is a political lobbying group that often pushes policies undermining local control. This 'work session' is where ideological agendas are born, long before a public vote.
Recommended Action
Email Superintendent Philip Wagner at pwagner@jmk12.org: 'Regarding Item 5B, please provide the public with a full copy of the 2025/26 OSBA Standards you are using to develop Board Objectives. We must see what this third-party group is recommending for our schools.'
