⚠️ NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 6)
Vague “Strategic Plan” Overview
📅 2026-08-12
The committee is reviewing the district’s “Strategic Plan.” These high-level documents are often used to introduce ideological goals like ‘equity’ or ‘social-emotional learning’ that dictate policy for years to come, all under the guise of long-term planning.
Recommended Action Plan

GET THE DOCUMENTS: Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and request a copy of the ‘Strategic Plan’ being presented in item 2.B. Ask if it includes metrics for ‘equity,’ ‘social-emotional learning,’ or ‘DEI’ initiatives.

💰 Taxpayer Impact: Future Ideological Policies
👀 MONITOR (LEVEL 5)
Undisclosed “Book Study” for Board Members
📅 2026-08-12
The Board is conducting a three-part “Book Study” with no information provided on the book’s title or content. This could be a precursor to adopting a new ideological framework for the district without public input on the source material.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and ask: ‘What is the title and author of the book being used for the ‘Board Book Study’ under item 2.A? Parents have a right to know what materials are shaping Board policy.’

💰 Taxpayer Impact: Lack of Transparency
