The School Board is holding a “leadership development” meeting to discuss its vision and priorities but has explicitly banned public comment, livestreaming, and recording. This allows board members to build consensus on critical district policies away from public scrutiny, shutting parents out of the process.

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link for contact info). ‘Why are discussions about the Board’s vision and priorities happening behind closed doors? All meetings where a quorum of the board discusses public business should be open, recorded, and allow for public comment. Move this discussion to a regular, public board meeting.’
