The Board is holding a discussion on future staffing based on enrollment projections. This is the first place they might propose new, non-essential administrative roles disguised as 'student support.' We must ensure new hires are for core academics, not to expand the administrative state with our tax dollars.
Recommended Action
Monitor: Attend the meeting and listen to the 'Staffing and Enrollment' discussion. If new, non-teaching positions are proposed, be prepared to ask during Public Comment: 'How does this new position directly improve student academic outcomes in math and reading?'
